TO REACH KASOL –
By Air – You can fly to Kullu (Bhuntar Airport)from Delhi and Chandigarh and cover the 35 km road journey to Kasol by a taxi from the airport, which are readily available. Kasol is an hour away from Bhuntar.
By Road – You have an option of choosing one of the three routes.
Route 1 – Chandigarh-Kiratpur-Bilaspur-Mandi-Bhuntar-Kasol
Route 2 – Chandigarh-Dharampur-Shimla-Ghaghas Bridge-Mandi-Bhuntar-Kasol
Pathankot – Kangra – Palampur – Jogindernagar – Mandi – Bhuntar – Kasol.
A Volvo bus plies from Delhi to Kasol and onwards to Manikaran. A number of other Volvo buses ply to Bhuntar from Delhi via Chandigarh. Taxi/local bus can be taken from Bhuntar to Kasol thereafter.
To Reach the Cottage
Park the vehicle near Alpine Guest house.A short walk(200m) through the forest trail takes you to the river edge where the cottage is situated.
